I was recently reminded that there's a big Reggae scene in Hawai'i. Makes sense to me.

Theres a worldwide appeal for most music. Reggae just dont appeal to most people because most people are babylonians. But the sufferer a feel it. I man love reggae but i love all music no matter the title given to it.

The Skatalites are touring through Northern California the latter half of March. In Santa Cruz, they're playing Moe's Alley on the 21st. I tried checking for a Salinas show, but no luck. Might want to check it out though. They're also in SF at Ashkenaz on the 25th.

regggae is african music, black people music. it big all over africa, the earliest forms of mento derive from kumina - which are interlinked with yuroba and congo in africa

reggae is massive in nigeria, congo, south africa, zamibia, zambia..... many countries in afriia.

remember dont just say AFRICA. its to much off a generalisaion, give i&i home CONTINENT some respect, name countries in afria if u can. Africa is bigger than europe yet europe is given the respect of having each of their countries named instead of calling it EUROPE, like they do "africa".
