Cabinets are indestructible! You can recone them with the new hemp cones and tell me what you think!!! Supposedly, the hemp material is too tough to blow, but they can burn...Burn spliff speakers!
The best cabs I ever had were 1939 Ubangi huge wooden folded horns loaded with Altec 15"s and topped with huge cast iron horns. They were huge--4'x4'and came from a movie theater. Each one weighed more than I did! They were too big to put in the back of a pickup, so I had to sell them, along with a gigantic Leslie
That system got the cops in about three minutes outside....
