hey guys, i found another album of them!!! but its a live i guess, called "mexico 1981". I download it this week and report what i think about it...
(some songs dont appear in "orthodox" album! im unpatient!)

I saw on SNWMF there's some talk about a reunion of Rastafarians and a new album and the unreleased 2nd album to come

hmm... wonder if its true

Rastafarians is a great group. Some songs are diffrent. but the good ones are great. The bad songs(if any) are not that bad. If I get hold of that second album, I would. Do you know if they'll be breaking it out any time soon???

iam really sorry about your judment on this seminal lp.even though there is no accounting for taste,the sole sleeve design is worth the price of the record.their bass player is one the unsung heroes of reggae bass playing;he has performed with every major act you can think of in the 70's from jimmy cliff,light of sabah,kingsounds,freddie mc gregor,winston mcanuff,burning spear,judy mowatt,ras michael,whether as a bass player or a guitarist sometime under various aliases,it be under maskil,haile maskel,michael ashley(his real name)ormichael ras starr performing even lead guitar on israel vibrations first two lps"same song" and"unconquered people".he played all the instruments but drums on their seminal "orthodox"lp.my friend roger steffens dubs their music as"celestial".to me this group with its multi-talented instrumentists and versatile vocalists,its divinely inspired music should have led reggae in the 80's had they stuck together.the album orthodox is one of my all-time reggae favourite and i always prompt my friend haile maskell into reuniting with former band members,as the whole is greater than the sum of its parts;at least they would have practised what they have been teaching us since a long time.
the lp orthodox is even worth all the gold of the world.i will be ready to buy thousand copies of vynil of this lp had i got the possibility
