you can check Beth's magazines and mail on this page;
http://www.freewebs.com/bethlesser/

Reggae Quarterly and her book on Jammy's are both fantastic! Generally everything released by the Black Star Posse & Friends during the 80's and 90's is well worth acquiring. Books like;
* Reggae Inna Dance Hall Style
* More Axe, More Axe 7 and More Axe 8.
* King Jammy's
* Small Axe Guides Singers

If anyone has More Axe 7 for sell or trade please contact me (I've got a spare copy of the fantastic Reggae Inna Dance Hall Style covering Junjo's Volcano Sound System and the people that was around it).

Hey Pices, NUFF respect to man called Trevor Elliot too man. He produced some real gems back in the day. Edi Fitzroy's "check fi yuh once" & Ringo's "cool profile" for a start. 2 WICKED LP's.

Hail pupa pisces!

thanks again for all info, and also Kalcidis for the link..

yes, midnight rock is truly a wicked LP by General Plough, I love specially the title track...

Unfortunately, it doesn't amaze me that he didn't get any royalties for his works... we all know this was a common practice with jamaican artist back in the days...

if you'd like to reach me, below goes my email address.

gunosantos@hotmail.com

I'll try to contact Beth Lesser thru the email on the website link Kalcidis sent us... let me know if it's the same address you got.

Blessings.

Trevor Castell is Lasley's younger brother. He was part of Sugar Minott's Youthman Promotion crew.

Would love to hear this album. I've got two albums on Kibwe which I think are wicked but this one I haven't heard.

Do you know if it shares any rhytms with the other Kibwe sets? They have some hard digital productions on them.
