Miller. His passion for the music was always right on the surface.

Mundell was just too young for me... his voice with too many flaws.

Both singers were I-nique in their own way. So to I these great singers are hard to compare, seen?!
Still to I brother Hugh Mundell was much more of a spiritual singer, comparing to brother Jacob Miller.
Brother Augustus Pablo in combination with brother Hugh Mundell really touch I heart!

I don't compare artists, both have released some outstanding material.

There contribution is worth gold in any reggae catalog.
So i love both for their particular style.

HAS to be JACOB MILLER.

Can't see how an artist with 3 really good LPs (Mundell) can stand the comparaison with another one (J Miller) who ruled the dancehall (with J Clarke) for roughly 4 years (from 74 to 78)!

There is stricly no comparaison and J Miller can't loose this battle. he got so much killer tunes! Of course his later works are not good, but he had so much killer tune before...

I'm not saying Mundell isn't a good artist. Just he was not on the same category IMO.

Hugh Mundell and Jacob Miller did not battle eachother, seen! Both singers were great messengers, doing JAH works.
It's only a matter of preference not of battle.

Gotta love both of their work with A. Pablo, but I can listen to Hugh's songs over and over. His message and delivery are truly beautiful.

Jacob miller is better, the funky/pop tunes was made for the inner circle band, on theses albums the music is putting before the singing
