well to tell you the truth, from what i know nitty gritty and trenor saw had beef and din't get along with king kong and anthony red rose, because they stole there style of singing. theres a song or a comment that tenor saw made, i think it was in an article, not a song bout how they are the originators of that vocal style and how king kong and red orse are imitators. i can't see why nitty gritty would have something to do with tenor saw's death, they were like brothers.

no problem me bredrin. just thought i'd put that out there because maybe king kong would be bias to the whole thing. but no doubt, he would of said that about his 2 rivals in the dance. but all an all without being bias, i love king kong's music as well. that's nice that you had the chance to meet the ugly one, i think that's another nickname he had, right. anywayz rispek in all aspect.

Yeah that was also on a GT dance where Tenor Saw said that he invented that Style and Redrose and King Kong Pirate his style. The funny thing is that Redrose was in the session and sung just prior to power saw touching the mic

I have a radio tape which actually states Nitty gritty being arrested for the murder of course the truth is hard to find here, but it is probably because of publicity that the ztory has been so mixed

From research I've done, I've read Tenor Saw did a gig in Texas & the promoters refused to pay him & there was some sort of fight, argument or scuffle between them after Tenor Saw left him end up getting run over & left for dead. I also heard he was sick during all of this....

I heard somewhere nitty gritty was no angel and was a very rough character he was wanted in jamaica for some altercations with his girlfrend.

Maybe because he had such a rough image people try to blame him for tenorsaw death?

With all this science and technology cant the truth come out as to what really happened?
