I believe its possible but also that mostly is a state of mind = know were you came from, look for one family...

Seeing this thread jogged my memory, thought I'd share.

It depends where in Africa you want to repatriate to in South Africa it is more 1st world than 3rd world and very built up so here you can earn a good living and live luxurious as long as you have a trade.

With jamaican musicians speaking about repatriation remember that rastafarianism and roots sounds are alot about slavery and being removed from mother africa.The rastaman in jamaica see africa as the place where there ancestors originate from so they feel that a return must be made.

Most don`t even return and even if they did they could easily feel out of place due to language and culture.Africa is a massive continent with many peoples and culture.

Im doing an assiment on this in my school.We can't and won't repatriate because we are infact too much enslaved in the mind to want to return to our motherland.even so,why go back when africa has been so racially cleasned that there are no more real big strong black african people.
