I agree that the Upright Foundation song "Wolf & Sheep Clothing" is the standout track on the album. Reminds me of the MIghty Diamonds.

Good, you can send on my copy tomorrow also. I guess it's €5 as you said (that evening you was so drunk that you impossibly can remember if you've even talked to me)?

I was lucky enough to score this recently on e-bay for about $20 (people must not have been paying attention - lucky for me). Some serious heavyweight tunes - worth tracking down.

Tracks like Roy Dobson - Jah Children Rising, The Psalms - In the Hills, Delano Tucker - Gather Israelites, Raphael Tomlinson - This Situation and Black Crucial - Ginalship and Bright Wynter - Words of Fire are all boom shots IMO & would stand out on any album. The rest is far from filler.

As is known, Makasound had to pull this set because of copyright issues. Ironically, the booklet has a lot of information about JAVAA, which is trying to raise money to help vintage artists. OK, if Makasound didn't have proper licenses to the tunes, pull the album, but why isn't the proper rights holder releasing these? They deserve a wider audience.

i still would like to hear the versions ...............

i have the abdulkareem track also on another singles compilation including the version - great stuff, seems to be a yabby you production.

i have the "Wanted" compilation on CDR only because i wasn't fast enough .... but who cares, i don't need a booklet with some blabla informations. if they (makasound) really would have been so informed (e.g. about the legality), they wouldn't have put it out. But then we wouldn't have the chance to listen to these obscurities ..... thanks makasound !

Has six or so crucial tracks, the rest is mediocre

yes, but that's still much better than 90% of all the other compilations.
