my impression is that the backing track is the same dear 6anbatte even if the mixing should be slightly different from the bluebells' dub along that you can find on rastafari lives in the heart of everyone Itinually.
I'll let you know if I find out something but I'm pretty sure some perry fan here will soon give us the answer.

When Lee Perry engineered and mixed " Scratch The Super Ape " according to David Katz`s " People Funny Boy " the musicians involved were:Mikey Boo,Benbow Creary,Scully Sims,Boris Gardiner,Chinna Smith and Keith Sterling. The horn section was Bobby Ellis,Dirty Harry Hall,Vin Gordon and flautist Egbert Evens. He also says that Barry Llewellyn and Earl Morgan sang vocals on several tracks.
Should we assume that as these musicians played on the Super Ape version " Dub Along ", that they are the ones on the Bluebells cuts on " Rastafari Liveth..." ???
Hmmm...

Hey Anorakrev

Good to hear from you. I must admit the "Dub Along" connection is my fault, caused, needless to say, by my rapidly deteriorating memory! :)
I genuinely did believe it was the dub cut to "Come Along" until, of course, I listened to it! Having listened to them both at length the two backing tracks do sound different.
