I agree jordandance, Wonderful album
"Message Of His Imperial Majesty" by Visionaires is one of my all time favorite songs. Love to know if that was ever a 12".
Also got Visionares "To Have A Home" on the strength of that one track and was not dissapointed.
Sorry i`ve strayed away from he thread, i`ll get it back on track.
Dub Roots is an excellent Wackies album. If you enjoy that one you may enjoy

Tribesman Assault
Black World Dubwise
These are also very good Wackies Dubs..imo.

Yes I, was just listening to Twelve Tribes Showcase in car while coming home from a band session with I bredrin early this morning.
Nuff crucial tunes, Send Us Home with some of the most amazing horn arrangements ever, the Spliffy Dan tune Shashamane which is pure vibrations, Visionaries' Spiritual Wickedness featuring most heartfelt wailing style singing, and the Dan Hudson tune Don't Linger with some epic melodies...
Would love to hear a repress done with a loving ear to do justice to the power and majesty of this record.
...and of course, Dub Roots is also great. March Down Babylon dubwise being the I point for I.

Prince Douglas mixed/engineered quite a few wackie's dub releases....just take a look in the credits and you'll find more of his work.

I agree it's definitely my favorite dub album on the wackies label, but my favorite dubs are definitely hidden in horace andy's dancehall style, winston jarret's showcase, and junior delahaye movie show.

You can hear plenty of those on various compilations though obviously not all of them, do searches through google you'll be surprised what you'll find.
For example, I had/have this album on tape somewhere that I bought from a bargain bin, didn't even know it was wackies.....Lee Perry - Satan Kicked The Bucket...here's the album if you wanted to check it anyone, Track 3 was my favorite and played it over and over again, had a real loony vibe to it that struck me chord.
