I'll give a shout out to Dub Store Records (ReggaeRecords.com). They have a nice selection of material and also had some things that are very hard to find in the states! I was lucky to find 4 wanted items and they shipped it very quickly as well.

I'm just back from Dub Store in Tokyo (aka ReggaeRecord.com). Really friendly and knowledgeable staff. The shop is surprisingly small -- about 20 square metres. Anyway, happy shopping!
Also, the chap at Dub Store told me about a shop in Kyoto/Nara (he couldn't remember which) called The Black Ark. Great name of course, but I wonder what it's like...

There was or still is a shop or hang out called Blackhawk in Tokyo (Shinjuku or Roponggi, I believe). A lot of the Japanese reggae celebs of the 90s used to hang out there like Chieko Beauty. Be nice to know if it still exists, since I've heard many stories of the place.

Selecta Bing put me onto the Reggaerecords site a while back great selection and prices are ok when you consider some of the items they have in stock just cant be had anywhere else but as was mentioned postage from there in Japan is a killer.
