Seems the planned gig's has flopped. Minott or Pat Kelly never showed up in London on Sunday nite. Big Youth & The Diamonds did and played a blinder I hear tell.

I'm glad I didn't bust a gut to go to London (or Amsterdam) that would have been the second time Sugar Minott no-showed for me! Last time at the Jazz Cafe he didn't show. We didn't find out until we were already in London. Not good.
Like I said, I think I'll stick to local sound system shows, they are more reliable, cheap and a really good night out anyway.

Real pitty. Would love to see Sugar Minott perform in the Melkweg pre smoking ban. Will be strange from the first of june: no more smoking at reggae gigs in Amsterdam.

Taco, read the news paper of the 26th AD.It said that when you smoke it pure and is not qualified as smoking?? only mixed with tabacco
see how that is gonna work.

I should have also mentioned that Alton Ellis filled the gap for Minott at the London show. He dont sound so strong these days though.
