Ijahman is such a good singer he can make the most rubbish lyrics seem like some righteous divine truth
lines like "sit thyself at thy right hand, children"
or "thou art the dew of thy youth jah jah"
are cringeworthy, but it doesn't matter somehow the way how Ijahman sings it

i really cannot come out normal from listening to"zion hut"mostly when wire lindo's organ takes you on heigher height.it's ethereal and uplifting.john kpiaye's lead guitar there and on the follow up's"miss beverly"are really heartwrenching.no other ijahman levi albums ever matched the 2 first island lps.
