The first that came to mind someone already beat me to it: Ken Parker

But I've always thought Stranger Cole & Gladstone Anderson were also some of the sweetest vocals I've ever heard.

Susan Cadogon - especially on 'Hurt so good'

Sheila Hylton 'Breakfast in Bed'

both superb and big favourites 12" tracks of mine.
