I haven't gone to Marley fest in well over ten years. The line-up of artists they always have frustrates the hell out of me. San Diego is "roots town". Much love to Makeda Dread and all the promoters but it's time to give us what we want---a solid line-up. Not just that, but request that the artists play their old/good stuff. I saw Triston Palma live and was very disapointed when he played all his newer stuff during the whole show and only performed like two old songs at the end.

If Michael Palmer and Little John are there this year I'm going.

How about Reggae George?

Just Right...I agree with you...it's more of a new dancehall concert...Promoters should reNovate the whole line up for dis year...

If you go to the world beat center web site you could vote for the artists you would like to see next year .

Or the other option is you all could step into the 21st century instead of clinging to a style that was popular over 20 years ago. Not that that's bad, but, come on, there's been tons of great reggae in the past 20 years. Including this year.

I'm sure there are some great tunes being put on in the last few years, but I gotta say -- There sure were some wickedly sweet sounds in the '80s!!! Nuff nuff rydim keep mashing up the dance... everytime... Niceness!

Little John, Wayne Smith, Johnny Osbourne, Robert Ffrench, Michael Palmer, Sugar Minott, Horace Andy, Linval Thompson, Johnnie Clarke, etc.

Bless the Selector!
