Greetings Fadel,
You mentioned a live burning spear show backed by aswad in one of your earlier posts. I have heard of this show but thought it was a myth because i could not find it anywhere. Can you please give me some info on it. Like what tracks the spear plays, and how the sound quality is.
Much thanks,
Rumble

hi
jah rumble
how terrific a name you bear
indeed it's an audience tape that my friend who attended the concert took in april of 1982 when spear and aswad performed her in senegal with osibisa from ghana.igt's maybe of poor quality as it is n audience tape but still it was a special occasion the greatest reggae concert ever performed here in senegal, after jimmy cliff and jah malla in 1977,it is history.i have the first part transfered in cd and the second in audio tape
it was no myth:it's a reality my dear

Greetings Fadel
I'm writing from the U.S. and yes I am fimiliar with Delroy. I have both the RASTA and I-SUS Lp's. I think my favorite tune from him is JAH WONDERFUL. It's great that you have that recording of the spear, that must have been a show to remember. I love live recordings and the best one i have of the spear is from 1980 live at Coconut Grove, Santa Cruz California. It's of very good quality and the set that the spear plays is great.
Much Thanks,
Rumble

hi rumble
i would be very glad to record the spear for you and send it to you ultimately if you give me your adress
i have from timle to time friends travelling to the usa.it's not a big deal for me.i love live recording most of all when they are unofficial, that's where the artists give usually the best of themselves.whereas in official live recording,it's formal and they have to take into account many factors and the selection is not most often to everybody's taste.
kindest regards
fadel
