>Him not into no drugs business so forget that

you are clearly delusional.

>Too many peopel just believe the labba labba dem hear

hear from niney holiness who as you might know spent a little time around him?

dont let your worship of heroes blind you to facts. they are people, they make mistakes and do things they might not shouldnt.

i didnt say it was badness, misfortune maybe but theres the truth and theres the legend. you seem firmly grounded on the legend side my friend.

>Dennis was a victim of badness

expand on that a bit...how was he a "victim"? and of what "badness" exactly? "badness" doesnt stand alone so tell us who victimized him with badness?

fact is, you probably dont know, youre chatting "hero who cannot be tarnished" business here. some of us know better than to swallow that, considering what we have heard directly from artists and producers who were directly involved over long periods of time. i spent about 5 hours over 3 days talking to niney and he had a lot of interesting things to say and was very sincere. he said them publicly, in press interviews too, so its not like he was posting anonymously on some message board.

think about it.

now you may have a point about not talking about personal life of artists but the fact is if youre in the public spotlight people want to know. i usually dont tell what i think i know but in this instance i think there is more to it than is being said so i chimed in.

one love

...strickly no ad hominem seen?
All man got a weakness. We easy prey unto one another.
Respect the strengths of the man.
Appreciate the goodness.
Respect to you JB Welda - but a bit harsh...I know - hard to be smiley all the while the world is f^&ked

And currently 'men' are under attack from 'wimmen'
No fighting back necessary. Just good old fashioned male patient vigilance against the social services and schools that make so many countries pitifully poor and stoopid...

Well, if in your old fashion male style, opening your heart to the women and consider them as full persons is a weakness, let me think that weakness seems in your place... But I maybe dont hit the point at all, and even if its off topic, Acetone, Id be curious to hear more of your opinion. What you mean?

@Litelet
I have done all of that. That's the ways I grew up.
I came to the USA and this country has made me aware of the gender division - in a very great way. My emotionally frail american wife has assured me of this and many experiences with wimmin in this country convince me of a 'put down' against both men and women.

I have kids. We have been victimized by a teacher at the school.

Don't even try to get me started.
I have always loved wimmin respectfully.
American women - deserve none of mine at this time.
I've had no evidence of anything amounting to rationality from the vaginally equipped persons.
And a huge amount of evidence, fun, humour etc. from the much embattered male end of the spectrum...

ueah so go ahead and protect wimmen - you've got an army on your side...

I work inna the reggae business for over 30 years. I know these men. I love them still. Don't call me delusional. Pick the beam from thine eyes etc. Drug addiction is not badness, it is a human weakness. Only Jah is perfect my friends. The fact that Jux and Dennis create THIS much in the situation they was under deserve BIG respect. Every time you cast aspersion at reggae heroes, once again it is another nail in the coffin of Jah works, because Babylon already want to bury it before it is even born. "Every time mi plant a seed they seh kill it before it grow..."
Ever read that Dennis Brown 'obitury' in the Guardian. A man what did so much for Jah music was slated at the time when you would want him celebrated and by a so-called 'left-wing' paper. That is what I am talking about. If we don't celebrate our heroes nobody else will. Nobody.

Well, Acetone, I cant understand yet, cause it seems youve lived something personnal very strongly, and Im not here to ask you details. All I can say is that truly living in full respect with my woman, yet brought me more than I could ever think. I dont feel weaker, but a lot stronger of this experience and feel a deep love within that enlight my days. Im not in search of any army, Im not in any politricks, I would just hope others could leave their common sense to discover something deeper, more real and deep that make sense as soon as you feel it.

I could see this coming!
This is a public forum. Personally I don't like to talk about artists' private lifes. When I posted, I pm-ed Poorbeats to tell him that and I removed my original post too.

These forums are ( at least for me personally) to share information, to share our interest. I prefer not to talk about the other side.

Those of us who are involved in the Reggae bussiness on a day to day level, we know personally many of the artists we discuss about on forums like this, we work with them, tour with them, have fun and also sometimes argue with them......we know certain things ( not always positive), we know the personal side of them. They stop being "heroes" or some kind of journalist's or collector's obsession. They are human beings.
