and from now me woulda feel nice to accept any other song they wanna do

no one has mentioned Crystal Blue Persuasion? it's the best Heptones song i've heard, though maybe it's a cover song and i just don't know it

Crystal Blue Persuasion is a cover of 60's song by Tommy James and the Shondells.

No one mention "Suffering So" a beautiful song and one of my fAvorite Heptones tracks.

I was in Tolmin and Heptones were there. They played:

Feel like jumping (Marcia)
And Full up of course....Leroy played the bass and sang pass the kuchi....he is a ruler...his voice is like james brown and otis redding mixed tugetha murdaaaaa....

I saw the Heptones last night at the Ferry in Glasgow and they were phenomenal. Their set included favourites such as Party time, We're gonna fight, Baby, Pretty looks, Equal rights, Deceivers, Garden of life, Rock and come on, Mama say and more.

Leroy Sibbles' voice is as strong, tuneful and full of subtle nuance as it ever was.

Barry LLewellyn even performed an excellent impromptu version of Sufferer's time as a request from a guy in the audience. The equally marvellous backing band, who obviously knew the track but hadn't rehearsed it for the tour, complemented Earl's vocal beautifully.

They're definitely one of the top five live acts I've ever had the pleasure of seeing. :)
