At risk to introduce some confusion, "extended" is very often used only for "full lenght" mix.

Interestingly, it's worth noting that the RRCD 57 re-issue of Police & Thieves has extended (= "full lenght") mixes of all the tracks, while on the original LP and on the other CD re-issue (the one with bonus tracks) the songs were drastically edited (= shortened) while Police & Thieves on the RRCD 57 release has a mix different from all other versions, and Tedious is 4'44" long (without the dub part that was placed at some point on the original Island LP) so the RRCD 57 CD contains many portions of the songs never heard before.
There remain some questions about the soon to be released 2 CD set, if it will contain the "full lenght" versions of the tracks, notably Tedious Dub and also Grumblin' Dub, which I always found a little short in time (maybe that one was edited for the 7" format).

Thanks Nicholas - you've made an old man very happy.
Years ago I tried to convince the whole disbelieving B&F Board (including our esteemed Ron!) that 'Tedious' on RRCD57 was a completely different mix (including vocal vs dub elements) to the original LP.
But I couldn't post sound files to prove it, and it's taken until now to find someone who has the same ears!
On the general point, I always think 'full-length' is the original version of a song that was subsequently edited for a 7" release. 'Extended mix', on the other hand, would be a 3-4min track made longer to fill out a 12" single.

About "Police And Thieves" CD differencies -
The RRCD 57 CD has some longer tracks than the CD w/bonus tracks (which seems to be the same as the LP version, apart from the bonus tracks, of course):
Police And Thieves itself - about 15 seconds longer
Solomon and Rescue Jah Children - a whole minute longer each!
Tedious, on the other hand, is about 15 seconds shorter
I haven“t compared the mixes, but I suppose Nicholas is right about that!

Did you find it yet? I guess it doesn't exist... unless you're referring to "Bad Weed"
I'm interested to know what is the original track of the version called "Predictions Dub".
