I always find it funny when people are amazed to discover that people in Jamaica actually enjoy other kinds of music besides reggae. That kind of logic would have everyone in England listening to nothing but Coldplay, or everyone here in Canada listening to nothing but Nickelback (shudder).

Personally, I would love to hear some Jamaican rock!

I would love to hear some jamacian rock too.
I don't think anyone is shocked that jamacianß hear and like some rock pop music. but more surprised that there was or still might be actually jamaican rock band.
judging by the responss no one has ever heard any.

Skindred is quasi jamaican with a Jamaican singer and definite ragga elements in their music. It is reggae and metal fused. Not bad. "Nobody" is their most notable song.
