Between 1990 & somewhere 2005 Jet Star/Charm Records released Pure Lovers - totally 16 volumes (as far as I know) all filled with pretty good lovers rock tunes. Good value for money!
Blessup allready mentioned Klearview Harmonix.
They appeared on some Ariwa releases. Ariwa released some loversrock albums, for example Kofi (Black With Sugar), John McLean (Bowled Over), VA Breaking The Barriers Vol 1, 2 & 3 (with Klearview Harmonix), Intens.

My dream was to do a combination with the late great Jean Adebambo - she sings while I man DJ but that was not to be. Kinda surprised me that a few of the women in the lovers rock angle were of Nigerian parentage Jean Adebambo, Toyin Adekale, Sylvia Tella. WOW we did have something going for us. We are no terrorist just lovers rockists.
Peter Hunningale, Lloyd Brown, Roger Robin, John Mclean ( the Father), Vivian Jones,
Jah know de list endless.
