I would like to see a good comp of ROOTS RADICS stuff !

Yes ED that would be cool too.
Rock A Shaka has release a lot, but there is a lot more !

Hey Bing,
Is quite a mission trying to find those Rock A shaka Cd's but getting easyer i have noticed that the American service we use to import at work has them on the market from the end of February so getting easyier but the origional Buster and studio one comps are still proving to be elusive as ever kinda like a lot of the Jamaican gold Cd's i want.

Yes Karl. I have the complete collection up to Vol. 14
incuding Vol.4 which is a DVD of the Prince Buster live concert in Japan.
( with the Determinations...my favourite Japanese Ska band )
Still a couple more to get...Have you tried Dub Store ?

Burning Junior
Did Burning Junior record anything else besides "On That Day"?

Hey Bing,
Have been getting a bit of stuff from Dub store thanks for the recomendation with regards that.
I wish i could find the Voice of the people-Prince Buster Rock A shaka CD's all i have is the one put out last year plus Fabulous and Lick a Pum Pum in my collection am gagging for more.
Are you going to the Aussie Raggamuffin this year. I have my tickets already for ours but its seems that Wyclef Jean may not be coming with all thats going on with the earthquake in Haiti. Cant says i blame him as with most there i guess he has lost people close to him.
I think it will be announced in the next couple of days if he is coming.

The Jewels
Mikey Dread/DATC singles
Musical Ambassador productions
Prince Far-I productions/singles
Basically hard to find Roots Radics backed stuff.
plenty of other stuff is worthy as well, I just have this thing about the Radics. I also really dig Soul Syndicate backed stuff as well.

Another Honest Johns style Light of Saba comp or just release the other albums on Vinyl & CD
another big hint
start including a free download of the whatever album as 192 mp3's or whatever when you buy the vinyl. alot of companies offer this now and it is just so obvious its ridiculous.
I swear that vinyl is going to have a big resurgence in the market within the next 5 years.
one thing is for sure sales are not going to go down on vinyl.
I know given the choice I would pick Vinyl & download every time over a cd.

As much as I like Lee Perry, Yabby You and Pablo, there is already a lot of their material available. I agree with Ed that we need a Prince Buster box set, and I would personally love to see a good Roman Stewart collection (there has never been one).
