I wonder what happened to their considerable vinyl cache?

They were prevented from going ahead with an advertised clearance sale when they were going into liquidation and on my last few visits I never had enough time to work through much of their back-stock of 12"s and 7"s.

It was very sad that they went, a cornerstone of UK reggae.

I believe the remaining stock, etc., was auctioned off, some interesting items from the auction have since appeared on ebay.

what was some of there interesting stock which was auctioned off?

There were various acetates, some of unreleased tracks and a finished e unreleased Escort Hits LP on Pama, I wasn't really paying too much attention I'm afraid.
