A true origanal Gregory was one of a kind.
Above them all the man was a hero,my hero.
Still touring Still recording.
By rights he should be reconized as 'one of the greats' THROUGHOUT ALL MUSIC

"Mr. Isaacs" was the first reggae album I bought, way back in '81. Sad news, indeed.

the period between 73 to 83 is pretty much unbeatable by anyone is reggae music, regardless if the quality dropped heavily from the mid 1980s onwards, he had a ten year period to look back on with pride. the man was over-productive and lead a controversial life, but in his prime, what an artist... one of the most memorable
