I've been thinking about ordering this album for a while. Anyone know what the sound quality is like? The only Abraham release I have is Poor Man Style on cd and sound quality is pretty bad....but never heard any vinyl releases.

I've had the LP for years and never really given it a listen since I bought it. From what I remember it was a rather great album though. I'm heading for town now ... but when I return in a couple of hours I'll give you a review on sound quality and the vibes of the material. I think I have one or two of the songs on Midnight Rock 12" previously (at least I recognize the title to »Girlfriend« -- gret song but rather misogynous lyrics; »Give me one of your girlfriends«. Jah Thomas follows with a rap called Woman Liberation though which salvages the song a bit for me).
The cover art on my vinyl looks a bit shoddy -- more or less they took the CD covers and resized them so it's all blurry and references the CD-tracklist (no A- & B-side just numbering them from one to twelve.
More info when I return later.

I don't have the LP myself, I only know that it is legitimate because the producer licensed the music (i.e. it's not a bootleg).

Thanks Kalcidis. I've heard clips of the album and it sounds like nice Radics riddims, just never got around to picking this up. For what it's worth, the description at Ernie B's says it is excellent sound qualilty. I just know that my only experience with an Abraham/Clcoktower release the sound quality was pretty poor but that was on cd. I figured the quality of the cover art was nothing special. My cd copy of Poor Man Style is the opposite of this album. It is a copy of the vinly relase because tracklist is 1-5 for sides A & B. I'm more concerned with the sound quality and how the dubs sound.
Look forward to your feedback.
