I think i know the tune u mention, amazing tune i also know it from an old radio station years back.
Heres the possibles:
Bunny Wailer - Rise+Shine
Watty+Tony - Rise+Shine (Lee Perry Prod.)
Twinkle Brothers+Jah Shaka - Rise+Shine
Peter Broggs - Rise+Shine
Aswad - Rise+Shine AGain
Glen Washington - Rise+Shine(Fade Away Riddim)
Hugh Mundell - Arise+Shine (Don't think it's this)
I Jah Man Levi - Rise+Shine
JAH Mason - Rise+Shine
Gladiators - Rise+Shine
Junior Reid - Rise+Shine
Louie Culture - Rise+Shine Again

As u see theres loads of possibles, i'm just digging out all these tunes+gonna find it!! i know the one, real heavy riddim, chanting "Rise+Shine Jah People", hope it's the same one?

OK i just ruled out:
Watty+Tony
Glen Washington
Ijahman Levi
Junior Reid

Ok here we go, Peter Broggs has a wicked version but it's not exactly the same as the one i'm think of, although i think it may be the same tune. Well worth checking out.

I'm sifting through them, will hopefully find it in a min!

Can also rule out Albert Griffiths+Gladiators , and Hugh Mundell.
I'm betting on it being Twinkle Brothers, who knows.

Just been listening to Jah Shaka+Twinkle Brothers version, and i think it has the same lyrics to the one i'm thinking of so i presume it's the Twinkle Brothers, just trying to find their original version of it, i think it may be on their Rasta Surface LP
Will get back 2 u if it's the one..........

I mentioned Rasta Surface LP well that album is by Twinkle Brothers+ Jah Shaka, and this hasn't got an original version, i suppose i need to find out who did the original to this tune, can't seem to find it on any twinkle Brothers albums i have.

Ok, i found it! if it's the same one u where on about, it's JAH SHAKAs - Rise+Shine, not the version with twinkle brothers.
It's on his "My Prayer" Album
Killa Tune........

Who has a copy of Bunny Wailer's "original" "Rise And Shine" (Roots Radics backing, sick keyboard riff, Radics at their best)? I've been looking for this cut for years. I know Bunny re-worked it later on but the backing rhythm simply wasn't there.
I'll settle for an MP3 if you don't want to give up the original..... I simply love that track to death.
