It'll be interesting the final. Spain can't runt he Germans into the ground like they did the Russians, the Germans are fit. But the Germans haven't shown anywhere near the flair shown by Spain last night.

I'm rooting for Spain (the land of my forfathers) but I have a feeling the Germans have Lady Luck on their side and will fluke a win.

But at least it should be a hard fought and entertaining final, I can't see the Germans laying down for the Spanish in the same was as the Ruskies did.

That's russian football, they're either really good or really bad, but nothing between it. Unlike, say Germany, because german players don't have to play their best game, but they just 'know', how to win. Russians don't.

I'm a ardent fan of spanish football, Fernando Hierro was my hero, when I was a small boy:)) That's why I'm so delighted. But there are also some 'political' reasons. If either Germany or Spain won the cup, it wouldn't lead to a wave of agressive nationalism. In Russia, it would.

Let me be the first to congrats Spain....
