Current, my 3 favorite Roots albums:
* Conscious Man - Jolly Brothers:
Very simple, hard-hitting roots rhythms. A near perfect album IMO.
* To Be A Lover (Super Eight)- George Faith:
The most dubbed out, tripped out lovers albums I've ever heard.
* Heart of the Ark Vol. 2 - Various Artist (Lee Perry Black Ark Productions):
Most of the original tracks from Megaton Dub I. Strictly Crucial!

Nice picks, Jah Chicken. I picked up Conscious Man and To Be A Lover recently and am really enjoying them. Definite classics! 4 more recent aquisitions that are favorites:
1) Natty Dread A Weh She Want - Horace Andy
2) Black Roots - Sugar Minott
3) Kool Roots - Earth & Stone
4) Pirates Choice - VA Studio One
and one more:
4) Reggae Goodies Vol. 1 & 2 - VA Wackies

3. Scientist = Introducing Scientist.
Should of been a top 10 Album list.
