It's not the release number you need to input, it's the specific jpeg number of the actual image on the database page. So if you look at :

http://www.roots-archives.com/release/1478

You have a release number of the record and two images. Hover your mouse over the images to reveal its 'path' in your browser (Firefox on a Mac shows this info bottom left) You'll see the images are 1285.jpg and 7430.jpeg. So to display this record you put:

cover=1285 (with the square brackets) into the message, like this:

[cover=1285,1478]

or this [cover=7430,1478]
