yes bassgroove youre right, lee perry meets scientist is an utterly abysmal release, surely scientist cant have had anything to do with that >?its chronic!!!

ITAL DUB on Wackies. I do not see the reason for the pricing on this one. does not move me in the least. Some tracks unlistenable. Feel free to trade with me if you are a die hard wackies fan.

"Three wise men" Dub LP on the JA "GG's" print. This one is so so weak imo.

hmmm. ive not heard much wackies dub that i rate highly in truth.weak riddims, poor bass, ie weak , tinny, rubbishy drums, awful guitar, maybe snatches of vocals from minott...sorry its not for me

Funny - I'm not a huge fan of Wackies Dub albums - although I agree the African Roots series is good.
For some reason though, when the dub forms part of a showcase album, it often seems to be excellent.
Lovers Rock JA Style - The Lovejoys
Dance Hall Style - Horace Andy
will give you a clue as to what I am talking about!

There are some pretty good Wackies Dub albums.
Jamaican Super Dub
African Roots Act 1
Creation Dub
Prince Douglas - Dub Roots
Also their showcase albums are pretty good too ie Junior Delahaye , Jezreel 1 & 2.
Sean, you quote Wackies as "weak riddims, poor bass, ie weak , tinny, rubbishy drums, awful guitar".
Perhaps you should invest in some decent hi-fi
You`ll be amazed how good it can sound.
