Tu t'en es tiré pour combien pour le Well Charge ? et où surtout ?
£15 in a second hand record store in London in may so 19€ but I think I've been lucky as it's in EX condition and I saw it goes for more than $170 recently on ebay.com.
I don't have it on LP but I can tell you it's quite good, not excellent but I love the track "I've got the right" and I would buy it for that tune
wareika wrote:Ton1, what's the label of the Culture In Dub LP? You put the Sky Note cover, but my copy has the Sky Note cover + High Note jam pressing.
I wonder if all copies as some prob on the b side, as mine does not have great sound.

This is an orange Sky Note label with matrix QSR 6084 / QSR 6085 but this is the A side which has some background noise, the B side being a lot better.
Hope we will spend an evening spining some records at my place next month

.

Ok, I gonna check the side which isn't that good later. BTW, the Sky Note pressing use the same stamper as the Jam pressing. The matrix are "DSR" and not "QSR". You should know that ton1! DSR stand for Dynamic Sounds Recording. Ok I agree Dennis Thompson writting is quite carved so a D can be seen as a Q.
About the session, lot's of job at thae moment. But of course I hope to find a moment to spin record with you.

Thanks for dropping knowledge on me

. I didn't know the meaning of DSR but I was used to see it very frequently so I should have paid more attention, and you're also right, the D looks furiously like a Q which tempers my mistake.
See ya !

In fact...I love it too! I managed to listen to it, and I didn't know Johnny Clarke had done a version of this Heptones song. Now I'm pretty sure to buy it, thanks

no lps, but my last order is:
Augustus Pablo The mystic world of Augustus Pablo
Mighty Threes Africa shall stretch for her hand
Delroy Williams I stand black
Knowledge Straight outta trenchtown
Dennis Brown A little bit more
Culture And the DJs
too much good stuff coming out, even without blood&fire.
but i really miss TROJAN, every 2nd release was worth purchasing.

I think it was Come Ethiopians by Phillip Fraser.
Crucial Freedom Sounds roots
Neither today nor yesterday - probably about 5 years ago.
Or it could have been an armful of Studio 1 disks from Sound City.
If I ever have some spare cash at a future date and happen to actually buy some new vinyl, I'll be happy to let you know!
Me so poor! Boo hoo...
