Just dug out and dusted down my copy of "The Front Line" album and it's on Kick and distributed by Pinnacle. I can't see anything about BBC Records.
On the front cover it says "From the BBC TV Series" and the reason it says that is because "The title track THE FRONT LINE was composed for the new television comedy of the same name....".
Hi 6anbette.....
Well, maybe I have a rare one!!??
On the cover, up on the right corner it is printed: BBC Records, but also like your copy: From the BBC Tv series.
And on the record-label it says:BBC records and tapes.
Maybe I can send you a scan, so u can see for yourself?

Black Roots did a recording for BBC called "In Session". This is a completely seperate recording to the "Front Line" album which is released on Kick.
Funky Fred, the album you posted is definately the "Front Line" album and not the BBC "In Session" album.
So perhaps you do habe a rare one.

The BBC issued quite a lot of records from the rock, punk and even the reggae scene back in the 70s and early 80s.
Usually, they are from recordings made for BBC TV shows, like the John Peel show or the Old Grey Whistle test. They are usually live, or studio live, performances.

Israel Vibration - Unconquered People IN DUB
(cover art not listed here)
Which sounds a bit like the Creation Rebel record Dub O O P has been playing. It definitely has a hint of the 'cry tuff' about it.
