i didn't read all posts (too much) but one thing:

If Rhino belongs to Trojan now i fear that the forthcoming "Shalom dub" won't have better sound quality than the rhino release. And that would be a real shame.

we are working right now at roots archives on a news section that should be online before the end of the week but i can already tell you that all the trojan (and their other imprints) releases have been delayed "sine die".

there's no indication that trojan would stop releasing reissues though.

we'll keep you informed of further developments and new release dates as soon as we get the info

seb: re. trojan

"Shalom dub" would be a reissue (but with bonus tracks).

i hope this will se the light of re-release.

but if they didn't improve the sound quality then i don't need it .....................

hi informer..i actually feel that dangerous dub is very good, but each to their own..heavy metal dub is good too....its a fact that opinions vary on whats good and whats bad..at least youre not one of these that come on here saying that theres no good, no bad...yawn...yawn..yawn...top ranking dub..crap sleeve, crap dub..

funny that dangerous dub is one of very few albums to feature both here and on the favourite dub album thread...i feel its good yet a bit dull when heard too often..no way is it a bad album..in my opinion..

which "Dub War"? The Scientist one or the Prince Jammy?

I also like "Dangerous Dub", though I admit the Roots Radics style does wear a bit thin towards the end.

kukuman youre right, it gets really monotonous does dangerous dub..note how, compared to scientist, the tubby mix is very raw and sparse..not much ingenuity or nice guitar, etc...
