Shocking, shouldn't be allowed

I think nobody gave permission for a life outside RA, so we should hang him high!
LOL

Ahh, back to the roots of duty! That is the proper way to give us the boosting satisfaction we deserve.
We are proud of our mod! We love him!

Time to appoint a couple more mods, perhaps?

There are some long-term users (no, I don't mean me) on here who I guess might be up for it...

Blood clat spammers are now spamming the threads about spam! Why not move this forum to a new server, or start all over again with a Proboards website or something similar?

I was actually thinking of taking over the forum. I will need to inform myself on how and what to do.
But then, I don't know too much about php, so...

I just registered on B&F board (should have done that long ago, but dont know, roots-archives more appealing somehow).

Anyway not here to compare both but before completing my registration i had to send an email to a moderator stating, i was, indeed, not a spambot.

The registration process was classic - hit register, fill the form in, wait for email to arrive, except it wouldnt be complete until i had sent another email in with my username.

This process was explained on a pined topic, written with caps lock or colours. Don't remember exactly, but it was something you can't miss.

It can be somewhat of a long process (took a few days for me) and as such can be a problem for a new user wanting to post a question straight on, and it would give some extra work for moderators, but it could be a solution.

I second this idea, at least for a week or two until they find another forum to spam.
