Hi Leggo,

I hear you and agree 100 percent.

In this day and age of material living when people believe they are suffering injustice just because they cannot afford to buy everything that is top of the range.

They need to hear the message being sent through reggae of what it was and is really like to suffer real inequality and injustice on a daily basis.

It might make the younsters today realise just how lucky they are to live in the environment in which they do.

But then again, perhaps they never will.

Dave

Actually I feel sorry for the people growing up in this environment. Soft living isn't really happy living.

Check out all the mental problems these modern youths seem to have.

For sure, growing up starved and in constant danger isn't the answer. But I think here we have a case of too much isn't a good thing.

Whereas with reggae, for me, too much is never enough...

on the topic of alfred abraham, he's a white guy originally from trinidad who now lives in toronto. The story he told me is that he bought the clocktower label ("for a small fortune")from Brad Osbourne's widow after his death, so at least some of his catalogue is legit. that said, he is definately releasing other material that he has no rights to whatsoever..
cheers
