I can confirm that it is BONGO HERMAN from my book of photos, "ROCKERS STYLE".

SIR BELLYAS !
How could you be "a little dissapointed" ?
It's a movie not a documentary. :)
***** 5 stars to the makers for getting all those NON actors together and to ACT !
I agree it is a TREASURE.....a piece of HISTORY from the greatest era in Reggae.

Me too.I just noticed Dr Alimantado as the tune 'Answer me question' is playing...I suspect someone to be Freddie Mcgregor at the soccer pitch where horsey disturbs with his bike...

Yes Selecta Bing... well, I saw it when it came out all those years ago, didn't know who most of the characters were and thought the story was weak. As I say, it's one of those films that as you get more knowledge it gets more interesting until it becomes the treasure it is

Great "acting" too :)

( I've met a couple of the artists from that film....in real life they are pretty much the same!)

Seriously though, I reckon Jacob Miller could act IMHO, he was a natural entertainer. I could see him becoming and all-round reggae star and actor in the US in the 80s ( he was young, charismatic and a natural talent....star quality....but unfortunately he died so young)
