This one is often played by the Shaka followers. Most of these sound systems who play Shaka style stuffs play it on regular basis (at least for French one). Well I like the tune a lot, but I think it a lack of imagination to play it so often. Same for fabian "Destiny" on Fox 7"...

I would preffer some less common stuffs.

I'm sorry, my sound system can not play only one killa tune.I will start with Jah Lion "Dread inna Jamdong". Then follow it by "Colombia Collie" & mix it with Silvertones "Rejoice Jah Jah Children".Then i will do a rewind and start over with Funky Brown "African Nation".......Just thinking in the pounding bassline on the street i can't seem to stop writing.:D

Steve Baswell - Cool Rasta Man Cool (Phase One 12")

If anyone has an extra copy...

The DEB is a classic, and I like it a lot and spin it sometime (always loud) at home. The Fabian, is just, hum hum, well just off key and don't like it that much. I do prefer Prophecy by far... But Destiny was a rarer tune than Profecy, thus it was considered as a better one.

The point is not about the quality of the tune. It's about the originality of the selector choice. I have to say that I'm not a big fan of the "UK scene" and the Shaka wanabes. All these selectors just collect the same so called Shaka killers and don't express their own taste or personality. I don't blame the selectors, as the public is from the same vein and want to hear these tunes. Oh, and these sounds are also too serious. They can't play tune that are just good if the lyrics are not serious.

Sorry, can't listen to the sounds on the website.
