A recent purchase for me has been Dave Hendley's compilation "Rebel Music, Vol 2", which is an astonishing collection of early reggae (1968 - 1973)....
For anyone looking for an introduction to Jamaican music, I think there could be no better place to start.
You can depart in all directions from it... back to rocksteady & ska or forward to roots, dub and points west....!
