thank you!i also have a regular correspondence with my good friend roger steffens who confirmed that.that is really unfortunate but it would have been nice to have any footage of hugh mundell's in concert.but where are you exactly living in the us.i would be very glad to have these concerts in audio cds the concerts in 1977 and that of paris ;the one i have at the san francisco one stone is incomplet.weren't you the one who told about the 1977 concert in the forum?
kindest regards

No, I did not see Hugh Mundell in Paris, but I lived in his apartment in Oakland,California, in 1981.
He used to go to a little recording studio and he was helpfull to me to give me his pad while I got acquanted with Californian lifestyles.
Just a note.
I had a couple of shots of him, but they are missing.
I have some other stuff thatcan be seen at;

hail up to one an all,
mi have a big big question. mi have a casette that seh it the san francisco stage show inna 81, which is about 1hour and 23 minutes. then mi listen to the one mi have in paris 1980. it sound almost identical, ithink even dem people inna the background, though this one is only 55min an 10 sec.
then mi have anedda one that mi fren recorded fa mi, which is also the san francisco stage show, but this one has, mundell pon a acoustic guitar singing acapella style, so go like "ojah, jah, jah, jah, in the east where meditation is cool. an that one like 3min an 4 sec. then after yuh hear whom i believe is roger steffens says hugh mundell recorded live in san francisco in 1981, with a band he never met, hugh mundell dead at 23 in kingston thursday night.
could anyone tell me the differences between the 1980 stage show in paris and the one in 1981 in san francisco, california. maybe the tracks or supm. i know the one mi have which is the one fram roger steffens. has him go inna DJ style, yunno jah levi style for about less than a minute on one of the songs. lemme know, if any a dis sound familiar.
roger steffens tell mi, alot a times hugh mundell would a come on stage drunk, an it would happend alot. i guess it's true, if yuh listen to one of the tracks pon the 1980 paris show, yuh hear a guy inna the audience calling him a "talking drunk" twice, pon track 9 interlude.
roger also seh, him (mundell)was a troubled yout' coz him use to holla an yell at him faada in front a people an all a dem tings deh. but still mi rispek him music as an artist, yuh no see't? mi rispek him music to the fullness.
so anyway hope anyone out deh inna de ring could a help de i out wi dis likkle situation, yuh si whey mi a seh? mi also found a pic a mundell inna 3 piece suit wid him baby mada any baby chile, back stage at some concert. really blyrry though, but yuh know it him.
bless up,
pisces
