Cool sounds great to me, probably cant make anything till Febuary though, only there for a few days in december and move in mid Jan so it'll be hectic for a while as i need to find a job when i get there.

Our social secretaries meaning girlfriends? heheh

Tell you what then, give us a shout when your settled in and we can arrange something then.

Guess leading upto Chistmas is not the best time to take you out and spend your money for you so perhaps its for the best :)

And no the social secetary is not me girlfriend, its much worse that that, its the WIFE. And to coin a phrase from Anorak Trev "SCARY"

Hi..
I'm just planning a week in London in august..somebody can tell me if the follow records shop are still runing and open?
- Selectors Emporium (Brixton Hill)
- Peckings Studio One Shop (Askew Rd, Shepherds bush)
- Music Temple Records (Brixton Village)
- Out On The Floor Records (Camden)
- Nudge (Hanbury St, E1)

Wanto to make a visit in this shop..thank you for info

Selectors Emporium is still open . Picked up a mint Vin Gordon vinyl LP for £12.00 , saw one go on ebay for £69.00 three days later . Result !

Nudge is still open. I get along there at least once a week.

Music Temple is still open, Brixton Village, Coldharbour Lane (from Brixton) go under the bridge at Atlantic Rd, and through the gates (on the left) to the market. Great shop with original reggae records from `70s, `80s, `90s, digital `90s, plus some new roots music from the past 9 years. Something for everyone in reggae music. Simon who runs it (a friend) is very knowledgable and helpful in getting what you want and styles you are looking for. Good prices. It`s what record shops used to be like. Transported back to the 1970s and `80s. Lots of hidden gems when digging through the boxes. Highly recommended. Been buying tunes off the man for years and is always a pleasure.
