I'm about to buy a record player too but it seems the all the ones recommended in this topic are way over my budget.

Anything around $150?

I'm 22 yrs old, I can't afford xpensive tables like some.
I have 2 technique turnables (cheap) which I got for 10$ bucks, 2 little speakers and already one blew cause I put the volume too high, and a mixer. But whats most important to me is the vinyl-the music,as long as my cheap system plays that black wax I live a happy man!

You got them for $10 each? Where? How long have you had them nd how long do you think they'll last?

Brethren,
I've finally started building up the collection. I only have a handful of album but I'm already addicted.
So much reggae to discover!
Thanks for all the help
