how can reggae move foward.. hard to answer that... reggae moving foward with new artist bands.. reggae is not being hold up by vinyls that was press long time ago... you can hear the past but you cant push it forward....it was already set back then.. reggae already been moving foward. with many styles

But the man rumble makes a good point. All the present reggae is in some way, shape, or form influenced by old reggae. If collectors sit on rare lp's, people do not get a chance to listen to some great music which inhibits them to be influenced and take reggae forward. There would be no reggae today if it wasn't for the people that did it 20 and 30 years ago. Share the wealth of this music. It's not gold, it's music...it's meant to make people happy.
