I don't know that expression as you describe it: Having a bag on - is that a colloquial expression in yer neigh bour hood. See? Neigh, hood?
I thought having a bag on meant that you were feeding and weren't to be disturbed.
Summit to do with the ladies? A bit lost here.

Anyone remember 'Lucky Bags'?
They were fucking great. Until you got a few of them and realised that they were shite. didn't take long. Nowadays the technology is better and the similar treats have greater longevity - better quality etc. Back to friggin Pokemon. My 7 year old is deeply immersed in that crap and I long for the time Transformers were his big thing. Something I could relate to...
Clearly I need to 'grow' as a parent.

Now is anyone angry here? Jeez, I can some across as serious at most - but ANGRY!? I'll mash up your friggin' fancy turntable you effete nancy boy english person! Sorry that was meant to be all caps. I'm so angry I couldn't see anything beyond the rage in my heart and mind and therefore neglected to forget to be irrational and leave my self thoroughly confused as I happen to be doing at this moment.

That was hard. And confusing...

All in good fun , there , my man (tu) Actually "having a bag on " is a British way of saying you have anger in your self ! The comment was a continuation of the bag theme , so PLEASE don`t come round to smash up my fancy turntable . If you did , I wouldn`t be able to play my re-release of " Sound System International " and I would have to just sit and look at my free King Tubby postcards . :( Btw , effete nancy boy is a compliment as I am considerably older than yourself :)

As I stated earlier , all in good fun !!

probably not much older I suspect...
And I would never touch your wheel of steel.

I, apparently have never growed up, like.
While my wife who is half competent gets to be with kids while I - happily in a way (but not in other ways) - devote entire new living space to recording studio requirements.

Art before all...self crushed beneath the heels of wimmin!

Collins Concise English Dictionary - .. " relating to or denoting the English language as spoken and written in Britain " ..

I had to look that up !

just as long as you're not including Ireland, Scotland, Wales in that ill renowned 'British' catchall. Seems like Collins had his head up his arse though...

Hey Trevor

Pretty sure it came out on Monday - 7th. Or was that a deliberate *mistake* to make sure you are head of the queue when the postcards are dished out? :)

Ordered it on Monday, but, Sod's law, we have a postal strike in the UK!!! :(

LOL. Patience was never my strong point. :)

Incidentally, I've ordered the LP assuming the postcards would have to folded in half if you ordered the CD! :D

Damn. I didn't realize that it was already for sale on the website. I've just placed my order now.

I bought that Lee Perry 'Voodooism' set while I was there too.
