Posts suggesting to check your life insurance after asking who killed Peter Tosh are quite funny.To think that anybody involved in that murder is going to track someone down for asking a question on a message board is laughable.These conspiracy theories are usually constructed by people with too much time on their hands & a vivid imagination.

Even if someone on here did know something about this , what are you going to do? Ring the Jamaican Police Force & let them in on your little secret?hahahahahaha

well tosh has left us couple of decades now but the manner in which he was murdered still gives me sleepless night.reading an article,i was quite convinced that lobban did not kill tosh,so who did?this is the answer im dying to find out.Jah knows all things best...may his soul R I P

hard to say as there is room for doubt, but Dennis Lobban went to GP in 1974 for shooting a police officer in 1973 when he was about 18, in addition to the larceny charge he went to jail for (wrongly, he says in the interview) as a 16 year old - he never mentions the shooting in the interview from jail where he proclaims his innocence. he was a childhood friend, or at least acquaintance of Peter, Bunny & Bob and that's how he had the Tosh connection. he was fairly fresh out of jail for the '73 shooting i think when he started hanging around Tosh.

lots of people who do bad things will spin the circumstances their way so that there is some doubt, it happens all the time. you would think that after all these years the other gunmen would have surfaced... he talks a good game though, that's for sure. i don't know what to think.

edit: my bad, Steve Russell was allegedly one of the two gunmen, he was tried along with Lobban in June 1988 according to the Gleaner. Russell was acquitted of the charges against him due to lack of evidence. he was, however, the unintended driver that carried the 3 gunmen to the house
