i totally agree that 1976 was the peak of reggae golden era and that alll the albums that came out that year are vintage reggae albums and golden.iam used to taking it as a reference point.maybe that the social political and economic situation is no stranger to the wellspring of inspiration both lyrically and musicallly,that underline these albums.but i would choose"black heartman""trenchtown mixup""war in ababylon"among other greats that are too numerous to mention;yes i definitely agree that 1976 was crucial in reggae

man.... 76' is lucky that the twinkle brothers didnt release something that year...or agustus pablo for that matter...
but i suppose the 76 album for me would beee....
