i've just bought this record, on the strength of this thread. sounds like a good release. i,ve never heard it before. actually i think the only songs i've heard by tetrack are on the augustus pablo rockers story album. quite looking forward to hearing it now. nice one.

is a wicked album.......my repress is on rockers label, a bit ruff.......does anybody know if it was also repressed by greensleeves, that was the former releaser label?

Eastman dub is excellent, the dubs to this Tetrack set are there.

well thanks to flashman for posting this thread originally. record arrived today, pressing is a little rough as imet states, but thats quickly forgotten as soon as the tracks start. have played it twice, and will have another listen later today for sure. first impressions,i love the harmonys throughout, and i can see this record and my turntables spending a lot of time together over the coming weeks/months. i'm wondering how come i never came across this before, a little gem. thanks flashman.

The meaning of Tetrack is from the greek tetrárchos which means *ruling of four*. As in four leaders. Never heard of the abbreviation presented above. Not saying it's wrong but I'm more inclined to think the title was taken in accordance to other historic sound names such as Trojan.
