Hi Bellyman,
I thought it was Papa Tullo but the DJ on the two tracks on the "Nightfall" album sounds exactly like the DJ who does "Qua She Take Over" on the Nightfall Showcase".
That track is credited to Ringo so I assumed it was him on the "Nightfall" album.
Dave
Right Dave, but that credit is wrong anyway.
First, Ringo didn't record for Linval Thompson, second, the original 12" 'Qasai' (sic) on Cha Cha label has Johnny Osbourne and Papa Tullo sharing the credits and third, the original DJ-Version of 'Back Off' appeared on a Greensleeves 7" also credited to Papa Tullo (GRED 50)just like 'Trying to turn me on' (GRED 60).
It's Tullo

Hey Bellyman,
I will always bow to your greater knowledge
I thought it was Tullo, but like a fool I took more note of the credits on the Showcase CD as opposed to my hearing.

Listening to 'Never Stop Fighting' now.
So that's what 'Scientist Wins The World Cup' sounds like with all the words intact...

I agree with Rootsman about the cover art. The Greensleeves Evolution of Dub Boxset Series had back art and original (sort of) label art on the cd, making the package a whole lot more 'authentic.' I picked up the Josey Wales Box with the JO box and that has the same half a*s art. But, the price was budget, and it's nice to get these clean cd editions...
