Sorry to bring back a buried thread but I'm very dissapointed with Apple. I recently befriended him on FB and let me tell you, the amount of crap he speaks on it makes me wonder if he's a mentally sound person. He talks mad trash about Skelly (never mentions Wiss) and tells people his songs are number 1 hits in Europe... There was rumor a few years ago that someone found him in Georgia (USA) living on the streets. What the deal with this him...

The old same story. They have strong personalities, they needed to follow their own way and destiny and felt it was time to take a new chance. They'll be allowed to come back together when they feel it's time to do it.This also might be a demand from their record company, for business strategy.IV fans will now buy 3 LPs instead of 1.Babylon system is always prowling around for opportunities.This happened in many rock'n roll groups for some time or forever(Police, Rolling Stones,The Jackson 5...). Even the Wailers split apart.You remember ? Who gave the starting point ? Bob, Peter, Bunny ? Harry J or Chris Blackwell ?

blackwell has played his role in the split up of the wailers but surely not wanted because he wanted three wailers instead of one band - tosh never recorded for him again, wailer a mere two albums

I recently purchased Apples Gabriels-Teach Them Jah & Israel Vibrations-Reggae Knights n honestly Israel Vibration are bad ass with or without Apple. My personal opinion Wiss has the better voice, Apple is good but not as bad as Wiss. Better groves in Reggae Knights.

I saw Apple here in Brazil in 2009 , it was a very nice show

But before and after the concert he made a lot of confusion; he didnt want to stay in the hotel, he had arguments with the promoters, and other things...he is a kind of trouble-maker. Don carlos was also in this tour and he cooled down apple´s temper (don carlos always sweet and calm)

He was my friend on FB too, and I deleted him, I got tired of his posts !!!

He writes these long posts on a daily basis, mixing old and new testament texts with his personal history, always speaks ills of Skelly, calls him a crackhead false rasta and also speaks about how he was separated from the group, and also claims that Dr Dread made Skelly front man because of his light skin, and so on... He never says much about wiss, though. There is always a big world conspiracy against him and true reggae superstars (which according to him are Bob Marley, Jimmy Cliff and he)

He is a musical genius, no doubt but I think there might be some mental issues going on... or maybe he is just hurt, sometimes I feel he would like to be back with them.

just checked out his fb page... he sure posts a lot of pics of himself.. also, is his caps lock broken? hah.

I wish everyone in the music industry was as awesome as Don Carlos! He is talented, gracious, an awesome entertainer....
