wow the internet is truly awesome, have been interested in Kiddus I for many years now, ever since I seen the "Rockers" movie. The "graduation in zion" track being the one that made me buy the cd, The mans presentation is totaly unique, like who ever put lyrics together like that?I defy any singer to take the lyrics he had chosen there, and put them together and make them fit the way he does.
THen today I find this forum, dedicated to him, and hey, he's even posted on it himself, why was kidus I not much much bigger than he was,???? why why why,I also read somewhere that he used to run an "Ital food "canteen at one time ?
one love & respect to the fullness

Well the market changed, Kiddus came at a time of heavy political tension and he was on the 'edge of things with the confrontational lyrics he had
A lot of those outspoken artists were driven out of the country, like Max Romeo and so on
I think Kiddus was one of them, they became like targets for political reasons
But yes, very good artist, no question 'bout it

Big thanks and praises to you Kiddus-I for your contribution to reggae music. I have only heard your Graduation in Zion song from Rockers movie-I play this all the time. I absolutley love this song, your lyrics, voice and the music - you touch my soul (no other way to put it for me)! Thank you also to all brothers and sisters in this forum, for your sharing and info regarding more recordings. Is Kiddus-I compilation released & available now in 2006? I really hope to see Kiddus-I live one day soon at a festival. Will you play in 2007 anywhere in the world? Do you live in Jamaica still? Much respect and love to you Kiddus-I, and to all brothers and sisters lovers of reggae music. Jenny
