Just reading through this excellent historical resource, saw the comment about ska without horns

As the man who put the Blazing Horns Ska show on leggorockers radio station, I know where you are coming from. However, just as I was preparing to point out some of the many fine vocal ska tracks - I see that James has just listened to '007' (referred to as Shanty Town) on my other ska show

As for the later comment about this track - yeah it is slightly slower, but still technically ska. There are, of course, many other fabulous vocal ska tracks, a couple that spring to mind are 'simmer down' the Wailers, 'I'm in the mood for ska' - Lord Tanamo ..... I'll stop there as many others have already entered my head and I could go on for a long time here!
